Pregnancy Tea
4 ounces nettle leaf
4 ounces raspberry leaf
2 ounce oatstraw
2 ounce alfalfa leaf
1 ounce lemon balm
1 ounce rose hips
1 ounce red clover blossoms
4 ounces raspberry leaf
2 ounce oatstraw
2 ounce alfalfa leaf
1 ounce lemon balm
1 ounce rose hips
1 ounce red clover blossoms
Place a gallon jar on a kitchen scale, and tare the jar. Then add an herb, tare the scale, and continue this way until all herbs are added. Shake jar until herbs are well combined.
I usually place an order at Mountain Rose about the third or fourth month of pregnancy, and here are the amounts that will carry through the entire remaining 6 months, using at a ratio of 1/4 cup dry herb mix : 1 quart boiling water. Infuse about 8 hours before straining and drinking tea. I like to prepare in the evening to steep overnight, so I can start drinking early in the day.
alfalfa, nettle, RRL: 1 lb
red clover, lemon balm, rose hips: 4 oz
oat straw: 8 oz (I purchased a pound but only used half)
